2010 Youth Musical Theater Camp

Featuring Scenes from “Oliver!”

Evergreen Playhouse, in partnership with Historic Fox Theatre Restorations, announces its second annual Youth Musical Theatre Camp.  Campers will experience professional instruction in all aspects of musical theater including dancing, acting, singing, set building/painting, lighting, costuming and more! The day camp portion of the program will take place Monday to Friday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., July 19 – July 30 at the Evergreen Playhouse.  The participants will also be performing in a production of Oliver! at the Fox Theatre: July 31 at 2 & 7 p.m. and Aug. 1 at 2 p.m.

Auditions for lead parts in the musical will be Saturday, July 17, 10 p.m. to 1 p.m. at the Fox Theatre in Downtown Centralia.

Program Director is Theatre Director and Choreographer Scott White.

Registration Fee: $100

(Each camper will receive two complimentary tickets to the performance with registration.)

Lunch is not provided, so send your camper with a packed lunch and snack each day.

Space is limited. Availability is on a first come, first registered basis.
